What Product Dojo is
Product Dojo is an independent learning platform for product managers, operated by Mayank Sharma. It teaches twenty-nine product management frameworks through structured lessons, drills and assessed scenarios, and issues a certificate for each stage completed. Using the platform means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.
Membership and pricing
An account is required to open the lessons and the stage-select screen. Joining is free at present and there is no advertising.
Paid plans may be introduced in future. If that happens, pricing and what it covers will be stated clearly before you are asked to pay, you will never be charged without agreeing first, and any certificate you have already earned remains valid and yours to keep.
Accounts
Accounts are created through GitHub, Google or LinkedIn, so their terms govern the underlying account and you are responsible for keeping it secure. One account per person. Use a name you are willing to have appear on a certificate you share. Accounts created to abuse the platform can be suspended or removed.
What a certificate means
Clearing a stage awards a title and issues a certificate in your name. It attests that you completed that stage's material and worked its assessed scenarios on this platform, and it names the specific skill it certifies. Each certificate carries a credential ID that anyone you share it with can verify against Product Dojo.
Certificates are issued by Product Dojo on its own authority, as an independent learning platform. They are not awarded by, or on behalf of, any university, government body, professional institute or third-party accreditation authority, and they are not a degree. Share a certificate freely, add it to your LinkedIn profile, or put it in a portfolio. You must not alter one, claim a credential you did not earn, or describe it as accredited by a body that has not accredited it.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Break, overload, or probe the site or its database for weaknesses without asking first. Responsible reports are welcome by email.
- Forge, alter or fabricate a certificate, or claim a credential you did not earn.
- Republish the lesson content as your own.
- Use the site to store or transmit anything unlawful.
If you find a security problem, email sharma.mayank.iitjammu@gmail.com before disclosing it publicly.
Content and ownership
The lessons, scenarios, wording, design, logo and code belong to Product Dojo, except for the third-party libraries and fonts the site loads, which stay under their own licences. The underlying product management frameworks are not: they belong to the practitioners and writers who developed them, and are taught here in the author's own words.
Learn from the material freely, quote it with attribution, and use what you learn at work without asking. Do not republish, resell or repackage the content, in whole or in part, as a competing product or training material. Your progress and your certificates are yours.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Product Dojo and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using the platform, from relying on its content, or from data lost through outage, browser storage being cleared, or deletion. Export your progress from stage select if it matters to you.
Ending your membership
You can stop at any time, delete your data from the account panel, and revoke access at your sign-in provider. Access can be suspended or withdrawn for breach of these terms.
Changes
These terms may change as the platform develops. The date at the top moves when they do. Continuing to use Product Dojo means accepting the current version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
