What is stored, who can see it, and how to get rid of it

Who runs this
Product Dojo is an independent learning platform for product managers, operated by Mayank Sharma. For anything in this policy, including data requests, write to sharma.mayank.iitjammu@gmail.com.
With an account
Sign-in is handled by Supabase using GitHub, Google or LinkedIn. Product Dojo never sees or stores a password. From your chosen provider it receives your email address, a provider account ID, and your name and avatar URL where the provider supplies them.
One thing to know about certificates
A certificate carries a credential ID, and its verification link is designed to be shared. Anyone holding that ID can look it up and see the name on the certificate, the stage, the title, the rank and the issue date. That is the point of a verifiable credential, but it does mean the name you choose becomes visible to whoever you share the link with. No other field, and no email address, is ever exposed this way. Nobody can browse or list certificates without a specific ID.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which stages get used. It sets cookies and reports your approximate location, device, browser, and the pages you open. It is not linked to your account.
If you would rather not be counted, any tracker blocker will stop it, as will Google's opt-out add-on.
What does not happen
- No selling, renting or sharing of your data.
- No advertising, and no ad networks.
- No marketing email. Your address is used for sign-in and nothing else.
- No payment details are collected or stored. Product Dojo is free to join today. If paid plans are introduced, payments will be handled by a specialist payment processor and card details will never touch this site or its database. This policy will be updated before that happens.
Your choices
- Export. The stage-select screen exports your full progress as a JSON file.
- Reset. The same screen clears the copy in your browser.
- Delete. Open your account panel and use "Delete my data". That removes your profile, progress and certificates from the database, clears this browser, and signs you out. It cannot be undone.
- Remove the account record. Deleting your data leaves a bare sign-in record with your email. Email me and I will delete that too.
- Revoke access. You can disconnect Product Dojo in your GitHub, Google or LinkedIn account settings at any time.
How long things are kept
Progress and certificates stay until you delete them. Analytics data follows Google's retention settings. Nothing is archived elsewhere.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected, the date at the top changes with it. The revision history is public in the site's Git repository.
